Meet Our Founders

Lorena & Brenda are bilingual speech therapists who have worked together for over 4 years. They recognized a significant gap in educational content for bilingual families, leading to them filming their first video, marking the start of TeleLingo. Currently, they offer resources for bilingual families through YouTube videos, live sessions, workshops, and speaking engagements across the United States.

The Heartbeat of TeleLingo

Lorena Aceves Hernandez, M.A., CCC-SLP

Lorena earned a Master of Arts degree in communication sciences and disorders degree with a Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Certification from Our Lady of the Lake University. She is passionate about helping families preserve their culture and minority language, having faced communication barriers when she moved from Mexico to Texas. After witnessing the transformative impact of speech therapy, she chose to pursue a career in that field and worked at a pediatric clinic and early childhood intervention (ECI) before co-founding TeleLingo. With TeleLingo, she aims to help more Spanish-speaking families, making a meaningful impact beyond her physical reach.
